Blinging in the New year

Hello today we will be doing a fun Smokey/Sparkly New Years Celebration Look. A little bit of glitter from Glamour Doll Eyes and 120 Pro Palette 2nd Edition and off we go!

To achieve this look :

Lets grab our 120 Pro Palette 2nd Edition and lets get started.

We will begin by priming the entire eye lid as we do with any look to help make the colors pop and last longer.

We will then use this Silver shadow all over the lid. Applying it wet will make the color a little more visible as well.

Next we will use this matte black shade to create the smoked out look. Remember sometimes less is more so gradually add the color because it is easier to add than to take off.

As you see here we ill be applying the black on the outer lid and bringing it in gradually into the crease to add a little more depth.

Blend, Blend, Blend! Bring the Black into the silver and smoke out the outer "V" and crease and best you can.

This is where we want to be. Line the lower lash line and smudge out the black to intensify the smokiness for the look.

Now the Fun part. We will use this gorgeous holographic glitter called Hollywood by Glamour Doll Eyes on top of the silver we applied on the inner lid.

To adhere the glitter you can use a glitter adhesive or even false lash glue will do the trick.

We want to apply this as if it was a wet pigment on the lid.

Line the lower lash line with a white liner to make your eyes appear more open and awake.
Add a pair of natural lashes and your look is complete.

We will keep the cheeks and lips more neutral to play up the focus on the eyes.

Here at Sedona Lace we want to wish you all a Happy, Healthy, and most importantly safe New Year. We look forward to sharing more with you all in 2012.

  1. I love how easy you make this look! I have such a hard time with black eyeshadow! And that GDE glitter is amazing! You look beautiful as usual :)
