Peacock Inspired Look

Hello everyone!! Today's look is based around the feathers of a peacock.  I think the bright yellows, blues, and greens are just amazing.  I hope you enjoy.  To create this look I used the 120 eye shadow palette 2nd edition.

The first thing I did was used , green, blue, and purple cream shadows to outline where I wanted each of the shadows to go.  This helps not only make the colors last longer but helps them really stand out.

I took a shimmery yellow color with the EB21 and highlighted the inner corner of the eye.  I made sure there was color on the top and bottom lids.

With a matte purple shade I created my crease using the EB15.  I really blended and brought the color out beyond my eye to create a little more drama with the look.  This brush comes to a point to it is perfect for creating a line that is blended on the very outer edges without any effort.

Taking the same EB21 I added a very bright shimmery lime green next to the yellow and blended the colors together to form a seamless transition.

With the same EB21, again, I brought a very shimmery dark green all the way to the outer edge of my eye blending it into the lime green color.

I, used the EB21 for the last time to add a blue color under the lashes meeting the yellow in the inner corner and up into the very outer "V".  I blended the colors into the dark green and the purple crease.

To darken the crease a bit, I took the matte black in the palette with my EB15 and put a very slight amount into the outer portion of the crease.

Finally, I added a shimmery gold to the browbone with the #941 to create a very blingy highlight.

I tightlined the eyes with black and put blue in the waterline.  2 coats of mascara finished the eye look.

The rest of the face I kept simple, opting for nudes, and brown based shades.

I hope you liked this look.  If you have any questions you can email me: beauty@stylefordummies.com, tweet me: @sedonalace_Leah, or you can find more information on this look and others on my personal blog: www.stylefordummies.com.
